To set up and manage the production plant in an efficient and planned way in accordance to set forecast and ensure smooth production operation with maximum productivity and optimum operating costs.
Function Strategy Formulation
 As a senior member of the Production function, contributes to the formulation and implementation of the Production functional strategy and plans as appropriate to the function / business line needs and objectives.
Department Management
 Manage the day-to-day operations of the Production department; providing expertise, encouraging and ensuring teamwork, aligning work processes in order to achieve high performance standards, meet established targets, objectives and employee engagement in a motivated work environment.
 Exercise financial authority within established limits and controls departmental budget expenditure.
 Liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties at the appropriate levels to support and ensure execution and smooth flow of the company’s business.
Production Strategy
 Establish measure, monitor and adjust limits or levels of production capacity in order to execute necessary schedules, production plan, master production schedule and material requirement plan.
 Manage the Production function’s related activities whilst adhering to the Ministry of Industry and Energy’s policies to ensure an uninterrupted delivery of quality services in a cost effective manner.
 Manage the renewal of production strategies internally in order to ensure business continuity.
Production Procurement Process
 Manage the procurement process of Production service providers through the request for proposal developments or competition invitation documents, as need be, in order to remain abreast with Client’s needs.
 Manage the search, initiation of contact and short listing process of Production service providers in order to gain an in-depth understanding of their respective delivery capabilities.
Production Management Framework
 Oversee daily production performance and ensure that all lines are operating to the standard productivity, efficiency, and utilization as planned with full compliance to the standard quality and SHERQ guidelines.
 Oversee daily production yields and works on minimizing rejects and controlling waste within allowable tolerances in order to ensure optimum production efficiency and effectiveness.
 Oversee the achievement of production target for different lines, monitor improvements of performance /outputs and alerts for increase of such targets whenever applicable.
 Manage the establishment, improvement and implementation of various production practices / methodologies in order to ensure standardisation of policies and procedures whereby Clients business continuity is safeguarded.
 Oversee activity in relation to the liaison between Client Logistics and Marketing functions regarding shipment details and quantities available in off tank in order to ensure an uninterrupted delivery as per client contractualised shipment dates.
 
Minimum Qualification:
 Bachelors in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
 MBA would be preferred.

Minimum Experience:
 8 – 10 years in Production Manager with in the Oil & Gas Sector that utilises multiple technologies.
